It works with only the smart bulbs connected to the network... The website for Google Home tells you which lights they work with... I have the Phillip Hue and it works flawlessly with that... I have my living room lights and bedroom table lamps connected to google home...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It requires smart bulbs or smart outlets to control the lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there are a limited number of light bulbs that work with Google Home at this time. You can turn on/off any device that is plugged into a Google Home supported electrical outlet by voice command.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not necessarily, but you'll need some kind of home control that supports it. Google Home isn't a smart device controller itself, so it needs to be paired with something that can actually do the controlling (like Smart Things, or others). If you don't already have any remotely controlled outlets or switches, it won't be able to control the lights at all. However, if you do have one of these systems that's already working, and it has IFTTT or Smart Things compatibility, you can get it working by either setting up recipes in IFTTT or buying a Smart Things controller. Other controllers may be added later.
