QuestionOur WiFi system causes a lot of buffering while streaming. Sometimes it just quits. I unplug, replug, and it works for a while. I assume we need a new WiFi router but Don’t know what we need. How do I find this out? AND have it installed?

- Answer I just consulted the in store guy who told me what to get. I bought it, took it home and a couple of days later the Geek Squad came and hooked everything up and checked out whole system. We were up and running in no time, they were great!

QuestionHello. Do I still get charged if WiFi is not set up correctly by Geek Squad? Meaning if after they complete install, our connection is intermittently choppy.

- Answer When I had mine installed and set up, Geeksquad took the extra time to test internet speeds and signal strengths throughout my house. Sometimes it may be the actual internet provider with the issues and not the installers/equipment. QuestionI bought through you a modem CM1000-100NAS and a orbi router wifi 6 do I need cox to install or you can do it without them?

Questionlost internet connection on Ring chimes. Next morning I kept losing internet on laptop, android phone Note 8, Samsung smart TV, Skystream media box. Tried reset on ATT UVerse router 5031nv upstairs and also Netgear N600 wndr 3400 v3. Need help

QuestionI have an ATT Wi-Fi set up and everything is slow. I have 2 bars of reception showing on my phones and I need to upload to YouTube, Zoom, and Facebook for my sermons on Sundays. I am a Pastor and this is going to be my vehicle for getting the Word out.

QuestionRecently had to reset my router and change password. I was able to reconnect my smart phone and a desk top with no problems. My laptop always tells me " cannot connect to this network". This same laptop will connect to a unsecure public network.

QuestionBeen looking to upgrade my Buffalo WZR-600DHP router bought in 2016. I've tried multiple routers (RT-AC5300 & WRT3200ACM) all with the same problem. They all kept disconnecting after 5-15 minutes of use. Can your WiFi troubleshooting find the problem?

QuestionI have a metal building built 40 feet from my home. I wanted to get the WiFi signal in the metal building. It works fine right outside the door, but once I walk in the signal is gone. I would like to have either an Ethernet cable ran.

- Answer We had similar issues and made an appointment with Geek Squad. They came out, assessed our situation, made recommendations & then installed the upgrades we selected. The agent was knowledgeable, nice and thorough. Got us reconnected on all devices including our Ring which needed the special screwdriver and he had one.

Question3 story house and systems on all floors. Old Time Warner Modem router combination. Plug end to Modem is Netflix router (one of the best)on the main floor in the corner of the family room. Bad coverage basement and upper. Can you fix or new equipment?
