• It can be used with 220 volts but you need a step-down transformer to convert input voltage from 220 to 110 volts.

• It uses a standard 110v household plug. I'm pretty certain trying to use 220v would damage the unit and there doesn't seem to be any safeguards to protect you from serious external damage if you don't use a 110v outlet.
