Q: QuestionQUESTION FOR BEST BUY: Why does Best Buy allow Model 6110 to be displayed as being "Water Resistant" when "Product Expert" has said two times in answers to questions that Model 6110 is NOT "Water Resistant" and the "Top" is NOT "Fire Resistant"?

• A:Answer Hi MichaelZ, It has a limited amount of fire resistant material embedded in the walls, floor, and lid of the product. It’s enough to resist seconds or a couple minutes of fire damage, but not extended or high temperature fire exposure.

• A:Answer It will take some time prior to combustion. Please note that the laptop security box has some insulation on the walls of the box (not the lid) to help in the fire resistance. As there is no water used in the insulation on the Model 6110, there is no need to “open “ periodically to avoid moisture damage.
