Hi Tk, Thanks for reaching out with your question. You won't need to fill water for your portable air conditioner and you shouldn't have to use an extra hose for drainage but you will need to install the exhaust hose via a window or sliding glass door. Thanks!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Internal tank supposed to fill under conditions when high humidity can't totally be eliminated by air exhaust hose. Unit automatically shuts off when internal tank is full, which then must be drained. However, when I operated this unit under high humidity conditions, it did not dehumidify or cool adequately in the AC mode.
