“Does the Honeywell 550 Sq. Ft. portable air conditioner need to have the bottom plug removed while during air conditioning mode? I do have the plug removed but there seems to be a lot of water coming out. I thought this unit had a evaporator in it.”

Hi, Thanks for sending your question! This unit automatically evaporates the condensate through the air outlet hose so there is no need to empty the drainage tank except in very humid conditions.
