Dehumidification requires use of a hose connected to the unit and run to a drain or capture container. It does not require venting to the outside to use this function.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit doesn't have a tray. According to the manual, if you use it as a primary dehumidifier, you do not run the exhaust hose to the window and you let the warm air return to the room. The unit has a threaded drain connection on the back where you can hook up a hose (not included) and direct the water into a floor drain or bucket (also not included).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes but the tank is very small so you would have to empty a lot
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is an interior tank that you can empty into a pan or use a hose. It also holds water when used as an AC, when the humidity builds up more water than can be exhausted. Again there is an internal tank. I have not used as de-humidifier only yet.
