• A:Answer Hi Pete, These shredders for home office heavy duty shred up to 6 sheets at a time and can also shred plastic credit cards, staples and clips. It will not shred CD's or computer hard drive disks.

• A:Answer First unplug the shredder power cord from the electrical outlet. Next remove the shredder head from the waste bin by lifting the handle straight up. Now you can empty the waste bin. The shredder has a 5.3-gal. waste basket capacity.
