There is a 3 degree spread between heat and cool. As far as setting a temp, it turns in at that temp no spread there
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you mean you set it for your favored temperature, for example at 6am, yes there is a spread from when the unit activates the HVAC system. For example, we have ours set to go down (it's fall/winter here) at 9pm, and for it to be at 70 degrees at 6am. Currently our furnace turns on about 5:30 am, and our home is 70 degrees by 6am (we have a brand new built home with new HVAC system), but the activation is “self- calibrated” by the thermostat, depending on how cold the home became during the night, so my best guess is that our 5:30 am activation will change a bit. I read that the thermostat “learns” your system, and that indeed occurred ours, and it took just two days to do so.
