“What is the difference between the Honeywell RTH9580WF and RTH9585WF? Amazon states 9585 is newer model but I can't identify any upgrades or changes. I need to know before determining which one to purchase.”

The only upgrade is the background can change colors. This all I have found thus far.

The RTH9580WF is a retail version of a different thermostat we sell that is trade only.
