“my old thermostat has an E wire and W2 wire (no AUX), so if my W2 goes into the W2-AUX/E slot, where does my E wire goe?”

• E and W2 wires are connected to the W2-AUX/E terminal together. In the south where I live E is for emergency heat and W2 is for second stage heat. Hope this helps.
