“I am reading this is dual fuel compatable. Multistage heat pump and two stage backup furnace is whatmy setuo will be and I will want to be able to have a setpoint to switch to gas furnace when it gets to about 5F since the cold climate HP is efficient.”

Hi JoeyG, thank you for reaching out. This thermostat works with up to 3 Heat / 2 Cool Heat Pump with aux heat. It is not compatible with dual fuel. We will be happy to recommend you a dual fuel compatible device at (800) 633-3991. - Maria
