“Will this unit auto switch between heat and cool or do I have to manually change that? I only see off or heat or cool. My settings are for heat to come on at 71 and cool at 75. The heat never came on and it was 69 in the house.”

Hi, please follow these steps to enable the auto changeover function:1. Press Settings on the thermostat. Select Preferences. 2. Select Advance Preferences, and press Next to Heating and Cooling System Changeover. 3. Select Automatic and press Done to save and exit. -Jerry
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe so. Set it to 75 for however long you want it that hot and then set it lower for the next scheduled time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The auto is for the heat to cycle automatically to maintain your set heat setting and the same with cooling. But it looks like you can preprogram heating or cooling through the scheduling feature. Or you can control everything with the honeywelll app.
