It may be that it know how long it will take to get to desired temp for the time you have sent. The time you set is how warm/cold the house will be so it will come on early to achieve that goal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same thing was happening with us and I figured it out! Whatever time you set it, it comes on so that at that time, it’s the temp you want. We wanted it to come on at 8:30, but it was kicking on between 7:30-8 so I adjusted it up to 9:30 and now it comes on around 8:30, with the temparature I desire at its set point at the time I set. I don’t know if that makes sense?
