“Besides being able to change the colors, is it possible to make the unit go dark until it is touched or activated? I would like to put this unit in a bedroom, but don’t want it glowing all night from across the room. Can it go completely dark or “sleep”?”

• Hi Kilmichael! You can set the Resideo Honeywell Home Smart Color Thermostat's backlight to 0 which should be completely black when it's not in use. To set this on the thermostat, tap Settings > Preferences > Backlight > Set to 0. You can test it from this screen as well to see if that's how you would like it. We hope this was helpful!

• Thermostat has a dimming feature but cannot blackout. Once you set it to your comfort level you should not have problems with it being to bright in a bedroom.
