It is not supposed to do that. Power comes from the heating cooling system and check the connections to see that nothing is loose Also is your heating/cooling system resetting/rebooting at the same time? If so that would cause the thermostat to lose power and have to restart. If so check whether your heating and cooling system is supposed to do that or whether you have faulty wiring or other issues that are causing it to reboot each day
