NO The C wire is the power wire The iinstrections will tell you what to do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No this thermostat requires a C wire since it doesn't runs on batteries as other ones do. I had a similar situation however there was an unused wire on my installation that I was able to turn into the C wire by connecting it to the board in the unit, just look closely there might me a wire hiding behind the wires shown inside the wall.
