Eventually, it will clean most particulates from the air. But it takes time. Removed almost all the hamster smell from my daughters' room in one day. Yes, I mean 24 hours and not all the smell.

However, if you are encountering a high level of VOCs in the air, we would advise using the Premium pre-filter, which is made to get rid of VOCs. Additionally, running the unit on Turbo will allow for the most air exchanges per hour and will help clean the air faster.
