We leave ours on all the time because our house is very dry - just don't forget to check the water leavel when you get home. It pumps out quite well
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That depends on how dry your air is. If your humidity is very low, this will have a hard time getting it up to the 50% that I prefer. I left it running 24hrs for a couple of days and it never did reach the point that it would shut itself off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will notice a difference even if only running part time. It is better if you could run longer, but you would need to be home to fill it. Even if it runs out of water the fan still runs cleaning the air.

This is designed for a medium sized room and can, over a 24 hour period of time, put up to 3 gallons of water into the air as humidity. While we don't recommend running any electrical appliance unattended, this is a cool mist unit so there is no heating element involved and if the the water in the tank is expended, the fan will simply continue to run.
