Does it clean carpet and hardwood null

Hey I ordered the vacuum because I have hardwood floors.. do your self a favor and get a different one.. it scratched my beautiful floors up and it does not suck up very good.. the only thing that I found useful for is the couch cushions it does move my cat hair into a ball for me to pick up..it doesn't suck cat hair up .. and if it does get dirt off the floor it throws it back 0ut ..
