Sucks at sucking
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to love this vacuum. With two dogs that shed and two little guys at home, a quick clean up stick would be such a blessing. It sounds like it’s working, the brush spins like it’s working, It’s lightweight, and the battery life is really solid. However...this thing sucks at sucking. I just gave it another shot. It didn’t suck up any of the dog hair, it did suck and drop it into convenient piles - but that’s not it’s purpose. Crumbs and chucks go flying out the front and the back of the vacuum, creating a bigger mess than it was to begin with. They need some work.

Posted .Hello Jershy88,
It sounds like you may be experiencing loss of suction due to a clog or blockage. Here are some helpful tips to improve the suction: check to see if the filter or nozzle is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove the debris. Also check the hose for any built up debris, and use the handle of a broom to remove. After checking the hose, please be sure to securely connect the hose to your vacuum. We also recommend checking the filter by removing it from your vacuum and tapping out any built up dirt/debris that could be resting on it. Rinse the filter with water until the water runs clear and allow a dry time of 24-36 hours. – OR – We recommend checking to see if your filter is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove any debris. While you have the filter removed rinse it with water until the water runs clear, allow dry time (24-36 hours). If the listed troubleshoot does not correct the issue, please contact us directly at HooverCommunity@ttifloorcare.com with reference to this review and model number. Thank you!

One step above a dust buster
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for a light vacuum that does offer a floor and carpet cleaning option then this might be for you. It has a fairly long battery life, decent but not super suction and can handle most dust and little crumbs. Where this machine falls short is for larger debris. The channel which the debris passes through in the unit is very small, so larger objects, food and dust can get trapped in the channel. I've had to clear it 10 times in the last four months. I do like the bagless design. But be warned about the power and limitations of this unit.

Great at first, then not so much
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was really great for the first vacuum or two, and then the suction dropped by more than half. It can’t handle pet hair. I was cleaning/swapping the filters and dumping the contents between uses, and it didn’t matter. The cat fur would get trapped before it hit the container, and had to be worked out by hand. It will pick up some litter, but as soon as you turn the vacuum off it dumps it back out the bottom :( Because this worked really well at first, I think maybe I just got a bad vacuum. But if you don’t have animals, this would be great for a small space (which is what I bought it for).

Good but extremely loud
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my mom because we got a Golden Retriever puppy. If you own one, you know they shed like craazy. The Dyson was way too pricey so i decided to get this one based off the reviews and like how it wasn't too bulky. It does an awesome job however it is super loud.. So I try my best to do all the vacuuming in the daytime otherwise my neighbors could hear it. Overall, it is a good vacuum.

Hoover cordless vacuum

Great for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for a small space. Battery life is good and suction is pretty strong. It's not quite as good as a dyson stick vac, but it's also about half the price. The head swivels so it's easy to maneuver, the collection bin is pretty big. Also, you can detach the extender and use it as a hand vac, I would definitely buy again if money was an issue.

Q: QuestionWhen I try to turn my Hoover impulse on the three lights under the battery flash and that’s it and it will not charge it’s not even a month old
Asked by PorkDogg83.
- A:Answer Check the charger with a volt meter (DC volts) to make sure your getting 26.5 volt. Your charger may not be working. If the voltage is good, you may have an internal issue with the battery or the electronics.

Q: QuestionMy vacuum won’t turn OFF unless it it plugged in or dead. I press the gray power button and It doesn’t do anything. I’ve resorted to trying to take the whole thing apart but am worried I’ll break it. Any advice?

- A:Answer Call Hoover ask if you can send it in for repairs or buy a new one— Shark brand are much more powerful and little bit easier to manage and they have a replaceable rechargeable battery
