It works fine with my S6, so it should work with the S8 too. I would also check that your router has 2.4g or has dual mode features available.

Yes. The Android App will work with any phone running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher.

Unfortunately not yet. An update is scheduled for December supposedly.
