“Could I use this on ALL my tile, hardwood, plus clean my carpets??? Not to sound stupid, but being at sea for years, I am not clear on today's products. Last I knew, you had to purchase 2 different entities as far as machines go. I don't want to purchase yet another flop, and I don't want to spend a fortune, especially while I am in a rental home. I am looking for something that I can use on all floors. I could work on the kitchen tile and take it to the bedroom where there is carpeting without having to change out machines and go through a big process. Until I am able to find the machine of the future to vacuum and steam my tile, go into the bedrooms to do the vaccuum, as well as have the machine determine the stain, decide on it's own what it is and already have the right solution to get it out, I won't know what to purchase! Lol! In the meantime, like I said, I'm not aware of what these machines are capable of. Could someone please let me know if I'm on the right track and if I'm not, please direct me on the machine that will fit my needs? Ocean girl needs help!!! Thanks for any help I can get!”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO!! Do not attempt. I over sprayed onto my tile floor and tried to use the nozzle to suck up the water and it barely worked. Had to use a rag to wipe down the water. This was due to tile floor not being flat, it had little texture to it. The hard plastic suction nozzle does not seal the surface like a soft rubber would.

This machine is for carpet and upholstery only. There are plenty of small machines that will successfully clean tile floors. I would not use steam on my hardwood floors.

Please try again later.The best thing to do would be to go to Home Depot and tell the person who works in the flooring or cleaning section what sort of machine you have or are looking at buying. Then run down all of the uses you intend for the device. He should be able to tell you if it will handle it all.
