• A:Answer Hi Dylan! Overheating is caused by a blockage in the air path. To prevent overheating it's important to clean the filters every 4-6 uses and remove any clogs in the vacuum. Hope this helps! ~Kenya, Hoover Customer Care

Q: Questionmost of my house is tile, with just a few area rugs. … so, to use on tile floors, do you need to continuously hold the brush shut off button or is the switch on / off?

Q: QuestionWhat is the model of the HEPA filter on the side beneath the tire cover.I ordered a replacement filter based upon the model number of the unit. The filter I received was incorrect. Please tell me what filter is the correct filter based on a part number. The image below is what came in the vacume - soiled of course. A photo of each side of the filter.

• A:Answer Thermal Protector has been designed into your cleaner to protect it from overheating. When the thermal protector activates the cleaner will stop running. If this happens proceed as follows: 1. Turn cleaner off and unplug it from the electrical outlet. 2. Empty the dirt cup. 3. Inspect the nozzle inlet, hose connector, hose, dirt cup inlet, pre-motor filters, and HEPA filters for any obstructions. Clear obstructions if present. 4. When cleaner is unplugged and motor cools off for 30 minutes, the thermal protector will deactivate and cleaning may continue.
