“The claim is that this vacuum adjusts to the carpet height, but ours doesn't move on the carpet, just has a really strong suction and doesn't go anywhere. Why buy a vacuum cleaner that only works on SOME of your carpeting but not all of it? Suggestions?”

• It doesn’t adjust for carpet at all. Low pile is impossible, while higher pile is hit or miss.

• Hi there! The unit is equipped with a automatic height adjustment, but does not work well on medium length to high length carpets. We recommend contacting your carpet manufacturer for a recommendation on which vacuum would be safe to use on your carpert. Hope this helps! -Michael, Hoover Customer Care
