HP ink has an expiration date. The ink does not go bad, but if you continue to use it after the date the printer will tell you that using it may damage your printer and void your warranty. I just click OK and print until its empty. My printer has been out of warranty for years.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The expiration date of HP ink cartridges is two and a half years from the date of manufacture or six months from the date it is opened. Since HP continuously ships ink cartridges, I do not have an exact expiration date for this combo pack.
