• Yes. The HP Envy supports MS Word via web or the program download quite well. Remember to look at the Word for Student discount.

• Short Answer: NO In place of Word, Chromebooks use Google Docs. There is a bit of a learning curve to using Google Doc files and folders....but Google Docs can be read by Word.
