• One may set up the on screen keyboard which overcomes the difficultly in seeing the keys with the low contrast lettering on this unit that has no backlit keyboard. Just search for on screen keyboard in settings to find and enable. Save link to taskbar for access on demand. This option made this pc perfect for me to use in softly lit areas and at night when watching TV with low light situations. Also, on screen keyboard 'clicks' by default which can be disabled for total silence.

• It comes with a 128gb SATA drive. It is not backlit.

• Hi Grace, thank you for the questions. The HP 14-fq0033dx laptop has 128GB of storage on a solid state drive (SSD). It does not have a backlit keyboard.
