• Thank you for the question. Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, etc.) is a subscription service, and Microsoft has included a 30-day trial with this laptop. You can subscribe for ongoing service after the trial.

• 30-day trial at best, unless Best Buy gives you a special deal, which they would mention right on top. After, besides subscribing, you can purchase the latest version, or have limited use of one component at a time through the browser. Or you can get a free, fully-compatible program like Kingsoft.
