Thank you for the question. Yes. When you take the system out of S Mode, you will be able to download apps from any origin, not just the Microsoft Store (provided you have ample storage available and your system meets the minimum requirements of the apps you want to use).

Please try again later.MS Office Suite, any program produced by MS, and most any program in the Store, can be installed on any computer running Windows, whether Home, Home S mode, or Pro. Bitdefender, Norton, McAfee, and the rest of the non-MS antivirus programs can be installed once the S mode block is removed.
