There are three factors governing how any specific hub works with any specific computer, namely, the abilities of the hub, computer, AND cables. All three have to be capable of any particular task for you to be able to perform that activity, so check your compatibility on all elements.

The USB-C ports on this are made for data only: No DisplayPort or power delivery. The HP Pavilion, Envy, Spectre, and OmniBook series laptops have the USB-C ports that have those and even Thunderbolt ports for the last three models mentioned.
