“Where is this laptop assembled? What countries do the parts come from? When I was checking this out the department manager in Rapid City, SD told me it was assembled in CA with parts from several countries, non being China.”

The product is made in China at an HP manufacturing facility. The parts are from several countries including China, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines., etc. HP, AMD, and NVIDIA are all US companies. HP manufactures some laptops in the USA.
