Why the display is not IPS? null

Its currently $450 for this laptop. HP had to cut corners somewhere. Yes the screen is not IPS but the screen is nice and clear, bright and while the colors aren't going to pop out its actually not as bad as some people make it out to be. I've been using this laptop for a few days and have had no problems with the screen.
