“Hi my computer is garbage and I was wondering if this would a good beginning laptop for school/single-player games like Hollow Knight, Borderlands, and Enter the Gungeon. If so how does it handle games like Rainbow Six Siege and Rust?”

If you go to the lowest graphics setting it can handle Rainbow Six Siege at 60FPS. All of the others except the newest Borderlands it will handle just fine. The GTX1050 is lower than what I would recommend to play borderlands 3.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As soon as you can upgrade the system ram from 8 gig to 16 gig. This will make a huge difference to performance of this laptop. All the games mentioned WILL play on this laptop. Borderlands 3 will play but you are going to have to lower the graphic settings a little. It’ll run in HD but it would be best to set shadow settings to low ( settings are in game under options). This IS a good entry level gaming laptop but added ram will improve performance.
