• The owner's manual doesn't indicate an alternative color, probably because the edges of the keys are green even when the backlight is off. As an fyi , Fn+F5 alternates between bright backlight, dim backlight, and backlight off. You can also set the backlight to go off if there is no keyboard activity for "x" seconds.
