• The memory on this HP PC is upgradable to 12GB of RAM memory.

• There are 2 DDR3L slots, allowing for a total of 16GB. See attached images of an upgrade carried out on this laptop.

• The response from "HP Team" is not correct, according to HP support. The system can only support 8GB or RAM. I've confirmed this both in the maintenance and service guide ( http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04763999 ) and in a chat with HP tech support. Note that I was told by tech support that the detail on the preinstalled RAM is 4GB, single DIMM, DDR3L-1600-MHz dual channel support
