“Does this have a return to original option? In the start menu is there a way to reset this laptop to factory? My Lenovo has a one touch option for this as well. I just want to make sure that if I gift this and the operator happens to download a virus - they'll easily be able to restart/reset. Please advise. Thank you.”

Of course and it's easy peesey to find and restore . Just type search or ask Cortana to take you to system restore and your off.

As per the default settings in the BIOS, two failed consecutive boot sequences should trigger a recovery option by Dell to restore. This setting is adjustable by following process: Turn on > Dell Boot Logo > Hit F12 > Enter BIOS settings (you may not see a prompt at Dell boot logo for F12, but hit it anyways to initiate).
