- Answer No, you only need to charge it to full capacity and then you can use it on battery power until it needs to be recharged again.

- Answer You could load Windows 7 on the laptop but be aware, Microsoft announced that it will be discontinuing support of windows 7.

- Answer You have a win 10 compatibility issues. Go to Microsoft site, download the patch, re-start, be sure you have the error code that your trying to work around.

- Answer I leave mine plugged in all the time, I never heard that the battery could be ruined by leaving it plugged in. Sometimes I unplug it, but with all the computers I have had that I have left plugged in all the time, they died because of malware or a virus, never because I left in plugged in all the time. And all the past computers I have had were HPs. Hope this helps.
