My intention buying this laptop is for basic internet surfing, shopping, email, etc., and I like the performance the way I intend it to do, not so slow and not so fast either. Sorry, I don't have the answer for you if it's good for video editing or not.

I have 32 gig Memory Desktop with 11gig Discrete graphics and that works well... at the least, find a laptop machine that has a discrete (separate) video card onboard so the machine will perform better... hope this helps!
