Questiondoes it have a cd disc drive? My printer/scanner came with a CD to set it up on the computer. My MS Surface has no CD drive. I tried to get printer software off the internet, but cannot make it work. I don't want the same problem with my new laptop.

- Answer There is no disk drive. How we, if you go to the website of the software you are trying to download, there should be an option to download the software, directly from their site.

- Answer The HP Laptop 15-ef0023dx does have a numeric keypad on the right hand side and you can remove the password requirement for Windows 10 if you want to.

- Answer Since there is no CD drive on most new computers today, especially laptops, add-on software needs to be purchased online and downloaded from the vendor. In the purchase process you will be issued some sort of proof of purchase such as a software "key". This method of software installation will require an internet connection. Good luck with the new laptop...I love mine!

QuestionI want to use Microsoft Office (word, excel, etc) on this devise. Also have a Print Shop program I want to load on this. And I prefer to use Google Chrome. Can these all be loaded on to this computer and ran by Windows 10?

- Answer Yes and no, Your computer will come with windows 10 s, but you can get out of it (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4456067/windows-10-switch-out-of-s-mode). If you stay in s mode, you will have to use the microsoft store, wich does not have google chrome.
