This laptop only has an m.2 slot, for an SSD. This laptop does not have a 2.5" drive bay, so cannot install an HDD or 2.5" SSD. (To help clarify the HP Team my member answer.). The spec.s indicate the m.2 slot supports PCIe/NVMe. I don't know if the m.2 also supports SATA; perhaps the HP Team rep could clarify what the m.2 slot supports.
