Does this model have a word document system? null

I was just told in the store that this computer is in safe mode and software cannot be downloaded onto it. If anyone purchased this computer and found that was not the case, please let me know. Of it you bought it in safe mode and removed safe mode to download software, please let me know how difficult that was.
