Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here's how you can do it: •On your PC running Windows 10 in S mode, open Settings > Update & Security > Activation. •In the Switch to Windows 10 Home or Switch to Windows 10 Pro section, select Go to the Store. •It is possible that you will get to see an option which says “Upgrade your edition of Windows” section. Be very careful, and do not click the “Go to the Store” link that appears there. •Get back on the store where you see “Switch out of S mode” page that appears in the Microsoft Store. •Select the Get button. •After this you should see a confirmation message on the page. •Now, you’ll be able to install apps from outside of the Microsoft Store
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4456067/windows-10-switch-out-of-s-mode Windows 10 in S mode is designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode. Switching out of S mode is one-way. If you make the switch, you won't be able to go back to Windows 10 in S mode. There's no charge to switch out of S mode. On your PC running Windows 10 in S mode, open Settings > Update & Security > Activation. In the Switch to Windows 10 Home or Switch to Windows 10 Pro section, select Go to the Store. (If you also see an "Upgrade your edition of Windows" section, be careful not to click the "Go to the Store" link that appears there.) On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, select the Get button. After you see a confirmation message on the page, you'll be able to install apps from outside of the Microsoft Store.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Geek Squad did it for me. The best membership I ever subscribed to. I have been on the phone with them a number of times for help. Windows 10 looks the same as Window 7 except for how to do things. Totally different. They walked me thru everything I needed to know.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you click the button to switch out of S mode, you then have to click the green “GET IT” button that comes up in the “are you sure you want to switch out of S mode?” Window. It’s a bit misleading so I don’t blame you for not getting it to work right away.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I went to the website for the Google Chrome download. When I clicked download, a window automatically popped up saying I would have to switch out of S mode in order to download. I followed the prompts and it switched over. Very quick and easy. Just keep in mind that when you switch over, you won't be able to go back to S mode.
