Optane Memory essentially remembers the most used applications faster. It gives you a faster performance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Intel Optane memory keeps track of what files are most recently opened as well as what is opened most frequently. Those files are then stored in the Optane memory rather than written to SSD or HDD. Read/writes from Optane memory are very fast, much faster than HDD and slightly faster than SSD. It’s essentially a hardware feature that adds a little boost to the storage system that makes the user experience a bit faster.
