QuestionJust ordered this computer and was reading some of the questions about windows 10 and 10s. Will the computer automatically come set for 10s or would I have to do it myself if I decided to have it in safe mode?

- Answer This laptop comes running WIndows 10 in S Mode. If you would prefer not be in S Mode, you can switch, but cannot switch back later if you change your mind. Windows 10 in S Mode is lightweight, allowing your computer to run faster, and secure because it doesn't allow programs to be downladed.

- Answer No you can not. You would need to purchase the laptop and have it upgraded after you received it. The laptop comes with Windows 10 home 64 bit from the factory.

- Answer The only thing you can do is upgrade the existing storage on this laptop. It would need to be in PCIe NVMe solid state drive format. There is no room to add another storage component on this laptop.

- Answer Modern processors and other components generate a lot of heat, and the only real way to get rid of that heat is to have one or more fans pulling air in and then exhausting it out of computer case. Without those fans, the computer would quickly overheat and shut itself down. You can use the HP Coolsense feature to minimize the fan speed (and the noise) but you won't be able to eliminate it.

- Answer It has a good onboard video card and 12 gigs of ram. It will get the job done. It may lag a bit compared to other higher end laptops but for the price I don't think you can get a better performing laptop.

- Answer External DVD drives, connect via USB cable. When you plug them in, Windows 10 recognizes them and makes them available for the system.
