It could of possibly be defective and probably be replaced. You should not need to have purchased the warranty for them to inspect it. Just have your receipt on hand.
A:AnswerThis sounds more like a software or program issue, check your setting and make sure you granted permission to use you're webcam, microphone. If issue persists contact software/program support.
A:AnswerMy pc just purchased has the same hard to read issue. I simply have a desk light with 18" or so flourescent light to better display the keypad. Works very well. My keys are silver color. With white letters. Not a great combination. Just position the lamp to just shed enough light over the screen till it's legible.
Otherwise there are a number of universal wireless keyboards that will do the trick for $12 to 30 bucks.

A:AnswerS mode is a version of Windows that only lets you install apps form the Microsoft app store and use the Edge web browser. You can switch the laptop out of S mode in the settings for free.
