is the Intel Gold as fast as the AMD A8? null

Thank you for the question. This laptop includes a Pentium Gold 7505 processor. We'd need the AMD A8 model in order to do a comparison (4555, or 6410 for example). There is no single way to measure the performance of a computer processor today. Multiple technologies are in play and a processor can be really fast for one task and really slow when doing something else. It depends on which tasks you're performing and the strength/power of other components in your system.
