A:Answer the HP Officejet v40 uses this cartridge on the black ink. This is an old printer fax copier scanner, but i have mine for years and would not trade it for any of the new ones today. I have a brother printer that I bought at Office depot several years ago, that has the fax copier scanner on it as well, but there is nothing like the HP for me. They were built to last.
