SSD no moving parts thus silent and does't cause heat and newer technology much much faster most likely to last much much longer then older HDD. And HDD is older technology with moving parts in it causes heat ,slower works louder and more prone to failing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SSD has no moving parts so it runs programs faster, but you usually sacrifice storage space since an SSD costs more than a HDD. It's common to see a 1TB HDD, but an SSD will typically be 128, 256 or 512GB.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SSD has not moving parts and can either be SATA or M.2/M.2 NVMe the later of those 2 options being much faster as SATA interface has been saturated already when it comes to SSD's HDD's are cheaper than SSD's but have moving parts and will need to be defragmented which alot of people either do not know how to do or forget to do so. That is the main reason for a slow computer. SSD drives are coming down in price however but you will not get the larger storage space without paying for it of course. But it is worth the extra price for a computer that boots up super fast and loads programs faster as well.
