• Because like you said they are cheap. This laptop does not even offer a M.2 slot. But the Lenovo 330s-15IKB does and it is the same price right now as this laptop. I will trade the ODD drive in this HP and the smaller screen gladly for the M.2 upgrade path. But that is just me.

• This is part of our "budget" laptop line, which typically uses b/g/n WiFi. This high-speed wireless LAN connects to your network or hotspots on the most common Wi-Fi standards. Our higher-end lines (such as Pavilion, Envy and Spectre) have AC wireless.
